Denise Kreckel is a 1981 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and married to one of PharmCon freeCE`s favorite presenters, Peter Kreckel. She has had 26 years of community pharmacy experience as manager of an independent pharmacy. Denise spent seven years starting a pharmacy department and program at a free clinic in State College, PA. Here she was able to help obtain medications for those without insurance or those underinsured. She is now retired and doing some pharmacy writing, filling in at the free clinic, and some medication therapy management. But her primary job now is that of grandma to her four beautiful grandchildren.
